Hardiness Resilience Gauge™
Understanding the Hardiness Resilience Gauge™
Stressful situations at work are not a question of if they will occur but when. Individuals who display higher levels of hardiness, or resilience, are less likely to experience the negative effects of stress on both their health and performance. Equip your teams and leaders with the proper training and coaching necessary to be resilient in the face of conflict, stress, and unexpected situations with the Hardiness Resilience Gauge™.
What is the Hardiness Resilience Gauge?
The Hardiness Resilience Gauge™ (HRG™) is an assessment tool that provides valuable insight into an individual’s level of hardiness. Hardiness is best described as the ability to cope with stressful and unexpected situations. With HRG, organizations can not only identify hardiness but also coach it to create more resilient leaders and teams.
Who’s the Hardiness Resilience Gauge for?
HRG is particularly useful for organizations for the purposes of identifying leaders and helping employees develop the necessary resilience. It is also useful for leaders for developing hardiness in their teams.
What does the Hardiness Resilience Gauge measure?
In addition to overall hardiness, HRG measures three qualities (the 3 Cs) that are most influential in determining resilience: Challenge, Control, and Commitment; they view challenges and change as growth opportunities, they believe they have control over the events they experience, and they commit to seeing the world as meaningful and interesting.
What are the benefits of the Hardiness Resilience Gauge?
With HRG, organizations and leaders can develop individuals and teams who are better able to adapt to adversity, perform under stress, and be more resilient to change. The HRG report is also useful for identifying strengths and areas in need of coaching in addition to providing actionable strategies to increase overall hardiness.
