Strategic Facilitation

Consider using one of our expert strategic facilitators to facilitate your annual strategic planning session. We can easily adapt and use your process or you can use our four-step strategic model; 1) insight; 2) hindsight; 3) action, and 4) foresight.

**TIMING & FORMAT**

Based on your needs: Virtual or In-person

STEP I: INSIGHT

Using a Strategic Visioning BlueprintTM or similar (sample shown below) which will be displayed to focus the group’s attention on the immediate strategies for action needed to reach its’ vision.

Agreeing on an overarching vision of where the company is headed and the four or five bold steps (Org Capabilities / Business Processes / etc,.) needed to take immediately provides a clear framework for action. This overview is not designed to be an implementation plan, yet rather a good springboard for action- planning and road mapping.

STEP II: HINDSIGHT

In a visioning exercise and using oversized wall charts (\*pre-designed for the session) the following information will be captured:

  • – Lessons learned from previous year.
  • Risk assessment of vision.

STEP III: ACTION

Using a strategy map (Big Waves Vision- one sample \*option below) will show the tasks & timing necessary to accomplish the organization’s vision.

STEP IV: FORESIGHT

Using previous flip chart notes from Step 1-III and oversized wall charts (pre- designed for the session) the following will be reviewed: Commitments made for upcoming years (Client determines time frame- typically 1 to 5 years) and check alignment or needed changes.

Our organization has been trained in ISO 20700 Guidelines for Management Consultancy Services. As such we have 12 general policies that we apply to every strategic facilitation engagement to ensure the Client’s goals are being accomplished, which results in a symbiotic partnership.
