Psychological safety at work is a shared belief that anyone on a team can speak up or make mistakes without fear. This workshop provides participants with an understanding of how psychological safety increases team effectiveness, along with the tools to assess and promote psychological safety in their teams. This workshop is designed to be beneficial for anyone working in a team, however this topic is especially relevant for leaders.

- It’s based on our research on psychological safety with a focus on promoting compassion, curiosity, and courage.
- A group exercise helps participants assess behaviors and mindsets connected to psychological safety.
OUTCOMES
After completing the workshop, participants will be better able to:
- Describe what psychological safety is and why it matters
- Practice behaviors connected to psychological safety
- Apply these behaviors to their current situation at work
ASSESSMENT
The workshop includes both a team and self-assessment of behaviors and mindsets of psychological
Safety.
