The idea that individuals can improve their skills with effort and practice is commonly referred to as a “growth mindset.” This term was coined by Dr. Carol Dweck in her book _Mindset: The New Psychology of Success_ (2007). Gaining self-awareness is the first step in personal development.

Assessments are an effective tool that provide a benchmark to understanding where you currently are and what areas you can improve on.

OVERVIEW & LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Each participant will take the Everything DiSC Workplace® Profile on Catalyst.
  • The session is geared to introduce participants to the DISC theory and model.
  • Participants are guided through their assessment results and provided an opportunity to explore other styles.
  • The 90-minute or 2-hour programs are an efficient way to introduce DISC to your organization.
  • We have used this program effectively in “open enrollment” type programs for organizations.
  • For a more in-depth program for intact teams, we recommend a ½ day or full day team experience.

ASSESSMENT

The Everything DiSC Workplace® Profile helps individuals understand that focusing on relationships, especially in business, is more important than only focusing on themselves. This popular assessment teaches people about their DiSC® personality type and how they can work with others who may approach situations differently. The Workplace Profile helps with conflict resolution and improves motivation, communication, and more amongst team members at every level of the business.
