How can our leaders improve results through effective leadership? When you get down to what leadership is really about, it’s not so much what any one person does as what groups of individuals do together to produce collective results.

This workshop provides you with the tools to enable internal conversations about what it takes to achieve better results. The content has either a workshop or a discussion format. Whatever the format, it provides tools to lead successful discussions with your teams and work groups. Lastly, it focuses on a framework that enables individuals to work together as a cohesive group to produce collective results – results they could never achieve working as individuals.

Each program features 6-7 specified modules and ranges from 90-minutes to 6.5 hours.

#### Emotional Intelligence for Everyone

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for Everyone is geared for any person across any industry or organization. Emotional Intelligence, unlike your IQ or personality which is set, can be increased to leverage strengths across various soft skills. People who have higher EQ have seen increased communication skills, decreased stress, improved decision-making, increased leadership ability, improved well-being, and increased team performance.

EQ has been shown to contribute to 80% of a person’s success on the job. In a flattened world where change is ever present, it has been shown that leaders with higher EQ tend to be more successful. You will learn how to leverage powerful EQ strategies for self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness, and relationship management. You’ll step out of this workshop with a strategy for each of the four EQ domains.

OVERVIEW & LEARNING OBJECTIVES

In this workshop, participants will learn the business case for EQ and make the connections how EQ can assist them in their personal and professional development.

Participants will:

  • Uncover their own areas of strength and opportunity
  • Evaluate their own possible triggers and how to manage triggers more effectively in the future
  • Learn about the EQ Conflict Code; how it happens and how to prevent it
  • Explore empathy; one of the most challenging competencies to improve if one does not naturally possess
  • Draft an Action Plan so they will have a path forward for improvement

ASSESSMENT

You have your choice of two assessments:

  • The Emotional Intelligence Quotient is administered online. The 14-page report provides two pages of general characteristics commentary, along with results in the four domains self-awareness, self- regulation, social awareness, and social management (and motivation) of emotional intelligence. Strategies and tips are provided for the participant on how to improve in each domain based on their results.
