Building Trust & Influence
In organizations where team members trust their leaders more, decisions having easier and more easily. Team members will often go the extra mile in high trust organizations, making the organization more successful, productive, and innovative.
Having high trust allows for more influence, which is vital for everyone at all levels. In this workshop, each participant will complete two assessments: the Trust Self-Evaluation and the MBTI® Interpretive Report for Organizations.
The capstone activity will identify how the organizational either builds trust or builds distrust and what steps can be taken to continue keeping trust strong or identify what steps need to be taken to rebuild the team’s trust.

- Understand how trust and warmth gets through your judgment filter to build trust.
- Identify the 12 trust competencies and your self-evaluation on each competency.
- Identify the purpose, intention, and benefits of having a psychologically safe team/organization.
- Identify how your organization builds trust or builds distrust.
- Identify how the 8 C’s (re)build trust.
ASSESSMENT
Using a 20-item self-evaluation survey, participants will identify their strengths and stretches in 12 trust competencies. Scores will identify a starting point for measuring trust from this is a towering strength to a possible derailer for success.
MBTI® Interpretive Report in Organizations, a 10-page report which provides an in-depth exploration of a persons’ work style. Features an extensive overview of how a leader’s MBTI type may be expressed in work settings and links his or her type preferences to likes and dislikes in a work environment. The report also offers insights into an individual’s communication, work style, and problem-solving approaches, while highlighting strengths and potential blind spots.
