How We Can Help

Managing the Response to Change

Resilient leaders and teams know how to manage change effectively. During this workshop, participants will gain insights and understanding of the impact MBTI Type has on how one tends to react and respond during times of change and transition in order to manage their response to change more effectively.

Workshop Objective:

The goal of this workshop is to increase participants’ awareness of the needs and contributions that can help one develop the resiliency and flexibility needed to be more effective during times of change.

Who is it for:

This workshop is for everyone! It is particularly beneficial before, during, or after a department or company reorganization, a leadership or management change, downsizing, and for organizations experiencing high employee turnover or a lack of employee engagement.

How does it work:

Participants will complete the MBTI IRO assessment prior to the workshop. Assessment results will be distributed and reviewed during the session, where we will facilitate interactive exercises to explore varying attitudes toward change. The session will wrap up with creating an action plan to build resilience.

Outcomes:

  • Increased self-awareness and others-awareness based on differences in MBTI® personality type
  • Awareness of the impact of personality on reaction to change
  • Helpful strategies to support one’s own and others’ needs during transition
  • Identify and commit to actions to build personal resilience during times of change

Methodology:

Using the MBTI Interpretive Report for Organizations (IRO) assessment, we will guide participants to understand the impact of their individual MBTI type on how they respond to change, and explore varying attitudes toward change.

Program Structure:

All of our change management workshops are completely customizable. Depending on your needs, this workshop can take place over the course of a half-day session or full-day session.

Additional Workshops:

  • Cultivating Emotionally Intelligent Communication Workshop
  • Building More Resilient Leaders and Teams Workshop

Building More Resilient Leaders and Teams

An individual who has a high level of overall hardiness can effectively manage his or her own reactions to any circumstantial change. They are also capable of bouncing back more quickly and are prepared to approach other challenges as they occur. This workshop will provide participants with their own Hardiness results, and how to further develop this essential strength.

Workshop Objective:

The goal of this workshop is to give participants an extensive understanding of their own hardiness, the implications of their assessment results, and strategies to develop greater hardiness.

Who is it for:

Hardy individuals are focused when facing adversity and are often very influential people. Anyone who wants to develop this skill will benefit from this workshop. Leaders, especially, will benefit because of their impact on others and experience greater success with their teams.

How does it work:

Each participant will take the HRG assessment. We will then provide participants with a solid understanding of their own Hardiness results, as well as how to develop more hardiness in both themselves and others.

Outcomes:

  • Understand hardiness and resilience and their value in the workplace
  • Develop awareness of individual hardiness and its implications
  • Develop strategies for enhancing stress resilience and adaptability across a range of circumstances
  • Identify how leaders can build or develop hardiness in others
  • Identify how to recognize strengths and opportunities in others

Methodology:

We utilize The Hardiness Resilience Gauge™ (HRG™), which measures how effectively a person can cope with stress. The assessment provides a Total Hardiness score in addition to scores measuring three qualities that are instrumental for predicting how resilient an individual will be.

Program Structure:

This workshop can take place in one of two ways: as a stand-alone 3-hour session or as a 90-minute add-on session to any other EQ, Building Resilience, or Managing Change workshop.

Pre-work:

Completion of the Hardiness Resilience Gauge™ (HRG™) Assessment
